United States, South Carolina, Summerville 108 Bentons Lodge Rd (Show on map) Electrical Engineering Internship CEMS Engineering, Inc. is searching for Electrical Engineering interns with strong technical abilities, and who express an interest in Building Sciences; specifically, Interior Power Distribution, Interior and Exterior Lighting, Utility Power Distribution, Motors and Transformers, and Telecommunications. The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities May Include Assist senior engineers with routine design.Prepare Electrical plans and specifications.Review calculations and drawings.Handle other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program from an ABET accredited institution or equivalent plus appropriate continuing education.Successfully completed coursework addressing Basic Circuits.Must be able to coordinate with other engineering teams/disciplines within the firm.Ability to work independently in a team environment and effectively manage time.Must be able to work and effectively coordinate with staff in multiple office locations.Effective time-management, written communication skills, analytical, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required.Excellent oral and written communication skills, decision making capabilities, problem resolution skills, and a sense of initiative are important for this internship.Ability to work in a team environment is required.Strong problem-solving skills required. Desired Qualifications Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) Registration.Experience or working knowledge of AutoDesk Revit.
