About the Internship Program
We accept Interns/Practicum Students/Student Teachers from accredited university programs only. Currently, we are accepting placements in the following areas: American Sign Language Educational Interpreters, Public Interpreters (Sign Language and Foreign Language), Student Teachers, and Educational Leadership Practicums.

Responsibilities by Placement Area
- ASL Educational Interpreter Intern: Witness and assist other interpreters in creating accessibility for students in the classroom. The student will have access to the classroom content and to the classroom social life.
- Public Interpreter Intern: Gain experience in public translation and communication. You will be immersed in our culture and learn how to professionally translate for different scenarios.
- Student Teacher Intern: Assist your teacher leaders in their day-to-day classroom practices. You will learn the fundamentals of teaching in a Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Blind, or Visually Impaired environment.
- Educational Leadership Practicums: Offer chances to enhance leadership skills with expert guidance in School Education Administration.
