Internship 2027 (Masters Level) Mental Health Counseling/Social Work Fieldwork

Responsibilities

• Co-lead group therapy sessions with a licensed social worker or professional counselor
• Provide individual counseling to an assigned caseload
• Provide support and practice de-escalation skills "in the moment" when students are in need of support
• Receive weekly clinical supervision by an on-site LCSW-C

Requirements

• Advanced year Master's of Social Work student
• or Master's of Mental Health Counseling student

Schedule

• Commitment of 3 days per week for an internship, typically 9am‑3pm
• Practicum students typically complete two 5‑hour days per week
