Responsibilities
- Assist Client Advisors with daily account management.
- Create custom reports such as cash‑flow analyses and balance sheets.
- Organize and streamline client and business‑development information on Salesforce.
- Support client events and attend as needed.
- Perform basic administrative tasks for the Client Advisory team, including presentation creation and book binding.
- Complete ad‑hoc tasks for Client Advisors as directed.
- Build and update financial models; conduct market and company research.
- Research, create, and generate custom reports for Portfolio Managers using Addepar, Bloomberg, FactSet, and Excel.
- Collect, synthesize, and organize equity, fixed‑income, and economic research data.
- Maintain accuracy of financial models.
- Analyze earnings conference calls to assist in evaluating recent company performance and disseminate information to internal departments.
- Provide research using Bloomberg, FactSet, and other data providers to create reports and graphs for client presentations.
- Assist in analyzing portfolios to ensure alignment with Whittier Trust sector and security outlook.
- Maintain and track composite performance.
- Support Portfolio Managers with administrative tasks such as presentation creation, printing, and binding.
- Research, write, and present major projects to the Investment and wider Whittier Trust team.
Qualifications
- Excellent academic credentials; progress toward a Bachelor’s degree—finance or economics preferred but not essential.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and emotional intelligence.
- Maturity and demonstrated interest in the wealth‑management industry.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Active involvement in extracurricular activities outside of school.
- Priority given to students graduating in 2027 or 2028.

Duration
The internship program runs for 10 weeks during the Summer of 2027, with an expected start date of Monday, June 7 2027.
