We’re looking for two highly motivated sales associates to join our high-line sales operation. We sell the highest quality vehicles on the market and offer unlimited potential for earnings. Prior vehicle sales experience is preferred and will accelerate your transition, but we also value raw talent that adapts well to the automotive world. You must be comfortable with technology and the latest digital trends. If you can sell—from cell phones to shoes to suits—we want to talk.
Responsibilities
- Devote yourself to ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening.
- Attend company meetings as required.
- Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow-through on assigned projects.
- Set personal performance goals aligned with company productivity standards and devise strategies to meet them.
- Review and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly actions to improve time utilization and planning.
- Stay current with business terminology and technological changes in products and services.
- Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations governing the company’s business.
- Follow lawful directions from supervisors and adhere to work rules and procedures.
- Participate in performance management and interact positively with colleagues to support morale.
- Uphold company non-disclosure and confidentiality policies.
- Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Sell vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards.
- Coordinate with the sales manager to set and meet new and used sales quotas and profit margin goals.
- Greet customers promptly, follow the outlined sales process, and utilize floor time effectively.
- Determine customer vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
- Demonstrate and test drive vehicles.
- Verify customer qualifications for wants, needs, and purchasing ability.
- Maintain current knowledge of new products, features, accessories, and their benefits.
- Use an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections and road tests before customer delivery.
- Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operating features, warranty, and paperwork to build loyalty.
- Create a memorable delivery experience to foster customer loyalty.
- Explain equity, values, and depreciation to customers.
- Conduct telephone transactions courteously and promptly.
- Provide consistent quotations for purchases, trade-ins, and sales.
- Move and arrange display vehicles on the showroom floor and lot as directed.
- Handle customer complaints with empathy and a positive attitude to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Stay current with federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
- Attend pertinent training and sales meetings to stay updated on department concerns and techniques.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and sales license.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to meet the company’s production and quality standards.
Physical Requirements
- Spend time outdoors in various weather conditions and indoors in air-conditioned areas.
- Sit, stand, and walk on a regular basis.
- Bend, twist, stoop, kneel, squat, and climb stairs as needed.
- Lift 25–50 lbs infrequently.
- Reach and lift overhead infrequently.
- Perform repetitive hand/finger movements and grasping/grabbing with hands regularly.
- Push and pull infrequently.
Pay
Compensation includes:
- Base hourly rate of $15.50.
- Commission based on the value of closed sales, with no upper limit.
- Production bonus based on individual or team performance, with no fixed upper limit.
