About the role
The Internet Account Representative is responsible for promoting and selling TTI’s products and services through various channels, managing existing customer relationships, responding to requests for quotes, and identifying new sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Promotes and sells TTI’s products and services by fostering strong customer relationships and customizing sales strategies to align with client needs and inquiries.
- Delivers competitive price and delivery quotations within the customer’s specified timeline.
- Leverages available resources by collaborating with departmental and corporate product managers, as well as manufacturers, to ensure optimal pricing.
- Processes customer orders by entering data into the sales system for quote generation and delivery scheduling.
- Manages orders with varying payment methods, including net terms, credit card transactions, and wire transfers.
- Utilizes screening tools to conduct due diligence on transactions, verifying customer information and product eligibility.
- Enhances product knowledge by utilizing various resources, including product literature, factory representatives, product managers, sales managers, and new product trainings.
- Conducts thorough analyses of Internet processes and procedures, providing strategic recommendations to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness in lead follow-up initiatives.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One to three years of customer service and/or sales experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Exhibits exceptional knowledge of company products and services.
- Demonstrates enthusiasm, tenacity, and strong selling skills.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exhibits strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Must be organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Able to calculate discounts, commissions, proportions, and gross profit percentages.
- Stays informed by reviewing and interpreting current business publications, industry reports, new product launches, and regulations relevant to the market.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision and make responsible decisions.
- Possesses working knowledge of company policies, procedures, and computer systems.
- Ability to type 40 words per minute.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and Word) at a basic level required.
