International SOF Integration and Assessment SME
Responsibilities
- Aid in drafting, staffing, and coordinating plans, roadmaps, MOA/MOUs in line with USSOCOM partnership plan and Commander's guidance.
- Process, coordinate, and finalize all staffing actions for international negotiations between USSOCOM and partner nations, including preparation of engagement plans to ensure key leader talking points are integrated into Key Leader Engagements.
- Create and maintain country plans for J3-partner nations that outline USSOCOM and respective partner nation operations, activities, and investments.
- Liaise with Tactical Special Operations Command (TSOC) and relevant Headquarters Directorates to align country plans with TSOC and HQ priorities and objectives.
- Provide quarterly updates and annual assessments of J3-I country plans.
- Collaborate with other J3-I branches and sections to gather and maintain accurate information regarding J3-I country plans.
- Offer subject matter expertise in supporting planning and coordinating international engagement events.
- Develop and staff engagement plans and strategies aimed at negotiating MOAs for new countries.
- Maintain a database of all USSOCOM international agreements impacting J3-I exchange and liaison officers and SOLO placements.
- Prepare staff packages for Chief of Staff-level approval for all J3-I related international agreements.
- Perform close-out and escort duties as per the Division's Security Procedures.
