Pay: Up to $10/hour | Hours: 10–15 hours/week
Timeline: Fall ’26 Semester with potential to extend to Spring ’27

About the role

Are you a creative thinker with a global mindset? Is storytelling, design, or graphic and digital media your niche? The ISSS office is looking for a motivated and innovative student to join our team as an International Marketing Assistant. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, communications, and insight into international recruitment, admissions, and student and scholar services.

Responsibilities

  • Create Content: Write, design, and produce engaging content for social media, newsletters, flyers, our new recruitment branding and outreach plan, international alumni, and the ISSS website.
  • Support the Creation and Scheduling of Social Media: Help schedule posts, respond to messages, transcribe and provide alternative text, and brainstorm creative ways to connect with international alumni, students and scholars.
  • Promote Events: Design flyers, draft email campaigns, and support outreach for ISSS events and workshops.
  • Research: Look into best practices in international student engagement and suggest fresh ideas to improve our outreach.
  • Monitor and analyze audience engagement on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Support the Office: Assist with front-desk tasks like answering phones and welcoming students and scholars.

Requirements

  • Active CCU undergraduate or graduate student (preference for Graphic Design, Marketing, Business; related minors welcome).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Solid design + content skills: social media creation, basic analytics, Canva/CapCut/Adobe, design principles, color theory.
  • Working familiarity with all major social platforms.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, reliable.

Preferred Skills

  • Independent thinker.
  • Creative problem-solver who can develop concepts and carry them through.
  • Able to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working solo and collaborating when needed.
  • ADA web-compliance awareness is a plus.

Pay

Up to $10/hour

Schedule

10–15 hours/week
