About the role
The Transaction Tax Practice at EY is a dedicated team focusing on the tax aspects of corporate and private equity acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and capital market transactions. As a Transaction Tax Manager, you will serve corporate and private capital markets clients undertaking third-party transactions in tax diligence, general transaction advisory, and overall transaction project management.
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge to a wide range of tax areas, devising strategic outcomes to very complex issues, including US domestic and cross-border tax strategies.
- Manage and deliver processes, solutions, and projects, ensuring a focus on quality and effective risk management.
- Drive continuous process improvement, identify innovative solutions through research and analysis, and apply your insight and experience of best practices.
- Guide others and interpret internal/external issues to recommend quality solutions.
- Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree)
- US CPA or member of US State bar
- No less than 4 - 6 years relevant experience

Pay
Base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $116,200 to $212,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $139,400 to $242,000.
Schedule
Flexible vacation policy and a hybrid model where most people in external, client-serving roles work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
