International Advocacy Liaison

About the role

The International Advocacy Liaison provides essential non-clinical support, guidance, and interpretation, acting as a dedicated advocate for international patients and their families to ensure seamless care and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates appointments, referrals, and specialized services
• Resolves problematic and crisis situations
• Manages financial transactions
• Ensures regulatory compliance and addresses grievances
• Provides guidance and leadership to staff in the implementation of existing and new departmental policies and procedures
• Captures and analyzes statistical data, identifies trends, and assists in the design of processes to improve the quality of services provided
• Keeps informed/abreast of all technological advances to ensure the most efficient patient flow
• Identifies accounts and determines when an account should be referred to management or prepared for placement to legal

Requirements

• Some college and three (3) years related experience, upon hire
• Interpreting experience in Arabic, upon hire

Qualifications

• Exceptional advocacy, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A deep understanding of international patient needs, financial protocols, and regulatory requirements

Skills

• Effective communication skills with physicians, insurance companies, patients, and other hospital departments
• Ability to identify and refer accounts to management or prepare for legal action

Pay

The posted compensation range of $30.91 - $45.98 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.

Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
