Internal Traveler Registered Respiratory Therapist
Baptist Health is seeking to add an Internal Traveler Registered Respiratory Therapist to Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This is a short-term contracted position requiring a commitment of 36 hours/week for up to 12 weeks with opportunities to renew. This is a night shift position working with NICU caseload.
- Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with breathing disorders
- Administering respiratory therapies
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Maintaining accurate and complete patient assessments, treatments, and progress documentation

- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Providing patient education and support on proper breathing techniques, medication usage, and lifestyle changes
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Preferred
- Level 3 NICU experience required
Qualifications
- Certificate Required
- Associate of Science Preferred
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required
- Florida Licensed Respiratory Therapist Preferred
