About the role

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care according to the Nurse Manager's expectations for an assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Implement the philosophies, objectives, standards of care, and policies and procedures of the Nursing Division under the direction of the Nurse Manager.
• Provide care to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs to maintain competency in nursing practice.

Requirements

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
• Current RN license with the North Carolina State Board of Nursing or Compact License recognized by the North Carolina State Board of Nursing.
• Possess knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, staff, and others.
• Ability to serve as a professional role model for others.
• Maintain current AHA BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty area.
• 36 hours per week/72 hours per pay period.
• 12-hour shifts or unit designated work hours.
• Scheduled based on the needs of the unit.

• $78.00 per hour plus applicable shift differential.
