About the Role
The Registered Nurse is responsible for implementing the philosophies, objectives, standards of care, and policies and procedures of the Nursing Division under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care according to the Nurse Manager's expectations for an assigned shift.

Requirements
- Graduate from an approved School of Nursing.
- Current RN license with the North Carolina State Board of Nursing or Compact License recognized by the North Carolina State Board of Nursing.
- Knowledge of current trends and techniques in nursing.
- Ability to relate effectively to patients, their families, physicians, staff, and others using proper channels of communication.
- Professional role model for others.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty area for which you are applying.
Schedule
- 13-week contract assignment (not to exceed 26 weeks).
- 36 hours per week / 72 hours per pay period.
- 12-hour shifts or unit designated work hours.
- Scheduled based on the needs of the unit.
Pay
$65.00 per hour plus applicable shift differential.
This position is temporary and not eligible for benefits.
