Job Description and Duties

Under the direction of a Supervisor I (Sup I), the Analyst II is responsible to assess training needs and deliver instructor led training, which includes myCalPERS system functions and usage, retirement program, health program, and all other CalPERS administrative program responsibilities laws, policies, procedures, and processes including Public Employees’ Retirement Law (PERL) and Public Employees’ Medical and Hospital Care Act (PEMHCA).
Telework Information
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.
Special Requirements
The SOQ must be typed, titled “Statement of Qualifications,” and each response must list all relevant experience, education, and training, including duties performed. The SOQ must not exceed two pages in length.
- Describe your experience planning, developing, and delivering instructor-led and/or computer-based training.
- Describe your experience working in a high-volume, customer-focused environment.
- Describe your experience and skills in communication, both written and verbal, to effectively share critical and complex information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience in developing and delivering instructor-led training, utilizing adult learning principles
- Ability to present in front of small and large audiences
- Experience using Zoom and Microsoft Suite applications
- Ability to research and analyze complex information
- Knowledge and application of the Public Employees’ Retirement Law (PERL), Public Employees’ Medical Health Care Act (PEMHCA), and myCalPERS system
