Internal Systems Business Analyst and Product Owner

Job Summary

Are you interested in working for a quickly growing company that prioritizes continuous improvement? We are seeking a Business Analyst/Product Owner to serve as the bridge between internal users and our development team, translating business needs into software solutions that serve the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the backlog of work tickets for our primary internal software system
  • Participate in agile activities – including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions and stakeholder meetings
  • Develop and facilitate alternative workflow solutions
  • Manage change requests for internal development teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for user issues or requests with the software
  • Work with the development team to ensure quality and adherence to acceptance criteria
  • Other supplemental projects assigned by management

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Experience

  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience in product management or software development preferred
  • Experience with PowerBI is a plus but not expected

Education
