Internal Medicine / Sports Medicine Physician Elkton MD

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a flexible schedule, supportive clinical environment, and strong work-life balance. The physician will work 1-2 days per week in Elkton, MD with the potential to work additional 2 days per week in Wilmington DE if seeking additional hours. If working both locations, candidates must be licensed to practice in both Delaware and Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Perform new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
• Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal injuries and related conditions
• Order and review diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Complete return-to-work evaluations as appropriate
• Refer patients for therapy or specialist care when needed
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Sports Medicine
• Active Delaware and/or Maryland medical licenses required (Depending on locations worked)
