Program Director for Internal Medicine
This position provides 0.5 FTE support for administration of the program. This includes recruitment, administrative requirements, all ACGME required oversight, evaluation and promotion of residents, remediation of residents, graduate verification, curriculum development and program oversight.
Qualifications
- Board certified in Internal Medicine and clinically active at the primary site where the residents train
- Expected to have scholarly activity (research, peer reviewed grants, quality improvement or patient safety initiatives, systemic reviews, chapters in textbooks, case reports, creation of curricula, contribution to professional committees, educational organizations, editorial boards or innovations in education)
