Internal Medicine - Primary Care

About the role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking board certified/eligible physicians to join our Department of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. A variety of ambulatory and mixed outpatient-inpatient primary care practice opportunities exist throughout Northeast Ohio at 35 locations.

Responsibilities

• Clinician Educator Faculty: Positions available at our main campus, Urban Health Center and two community centers. Opportunities to work with medical student, resident, and interdisciplinary trainees. Works within a predominantly outpatient setting, providing adult primary care and consultative services for patients with complex clinical problems, with an emphasis on teaching, scholarship and leadership with opportunities for inpatient teaching service at three of the sites.
• Community Internal Medicine Primary Care Physicians: Works in a predominantly outpatient setting to provide outstanding preventative, acute and chronic disease care for adults in a patient focused environment. Selected opportunities for combined inpatient service, teaching and leadership available.
• Community Med/Peds Primary Care Physicians: Works in a predominantly outpatient setting to provide outstanding preventative, acute and chronic disease care for adults and children in a patient focused environment. Selected opportunities for combined inpatient service, teaching and leadership available.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine
• Experience in Ambulatory and Mixed Outpatient-Inpatient Primary Care
• Strong Teaching and Leadership Skills
• Excellent Communication and Patient-Centered Care Skills

• Outstanding Clinical Skills
• Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to Teach and Mentor Medical Students and Residents
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records (Epic)
• Experience with Population Management and Value-Based Care

Pay

Minimum salary: $251,000
Maximum salary: $359,750
