Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
Deliver preventive care, health maintenance, and chronic disease management.
Perform patient evaluations, histories, and physical examinations.
Develop treatment plans, order diagnostic testing and imaging, and coordinate specialty referrals when appropriate.
Review and act on laboratory results, imaging studies, and patient communications in a timely manner.
Build strong, long-term relationships with patients while promoting holistic wellness and preventive healthcare.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Administrative Responsibilities

Complete accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR)
Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and quality initiatives
Serve as a clinical resource to medical staff and support personnel
Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment
Support culturally competent care and promote an inclusive workplace

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered, value-based care.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical records such as Epic or eClinicalWorks preferred.

Licensure Requirements

  • Candidates Must Possess Or Be Eligible To Obtain Active, unrestricted Massachusetts Medical License.
  • DEA Registration.
  • Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Completion of all credentialing and background screening requirements.
