TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an enthusiastic and patient-centered Internal Medicine physician, with both inpatient and outpatient interests, to join The Frist Clinic, a premier group, in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, starting in July 2026.

About The Frist Clinic and TriStar Centennial Medical Center

The Frist Clinic is a premier multispecialty group of 31 physicians and 13 APPs providing care and services to the Middle Tennessee region. TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 741-bed comprehensive facility offering programs including behavioral health, 24-hour emergency, heart and vascular, imaging, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, sleep disorder and women’s services. It is located on a 43-acre campus, home to The Frist Clinic, TriStar Centennial Heart & Vascular Center, TriStar Centennial Women’s Hospital, The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial, Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at TriStar Centennial Medical Center, TriStar Centennial Advanced Joint Replacement Institute, and TriStar Centennial Parthenon Pavilion.

Qualifications

  • ABMS Board certified/eligible in internal medicine
  • TN Licensure and DEA with full prescriptive authority
  • Interest in providing care in an inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based patient care
  • Ability to begin new practice in Summer/Fall 2026

  • Inpatient call: 1:11, providing comprehensive and continuous care to practice patients only
  • Hospital employed, full-time schedule: M-F, clinic closes at noon on Friday

Practice Setting

Established, well-managed, multispecialty practice (Internal Medicine, GI, ID, Endocrinology, Pulmonology, Rheumatology) with office services including EKG, PFT, Dexa, chest x-ray, and lab. Average daily clinic patient encounters are 18-20, with a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, primarily outpatient, 85%/15%. Inpatient call is 1:11, providing comprehensive and continuous care to practice patients only. The practice is hospital employed, full-time, schedule M-F, clinic closes at noon on Friday.
