About the role
Essen Health Care is seeking a Primary Care or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Upstate NY areas. Located in the largest privately held multispecialty medical group in the Bronx, Essen provides high-quality, compassionate, and accessible medical care to underserved residents of New York State.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care or internal medicine services to patients in various settings including in-person and telehealth appointments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care and population health management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of innovative healthcare delivery models.
- Engage in professional development activities and maintain certification requirements.
Requirements
- Current New York State Medical License.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Experience in providing primary care or internal medicine services preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Passing scores on the USMLE Step 2 or COMLEX Level II exam.
