About the role
Arc Health is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join their team at the Chinle, part of the Navajo Area Indian Health Service (NAIHS).
What You'll Do
- Deliver full-spectrum outpatient care under the direction of the Acting Primary Care Director.
- Participate in culturally responsive, community-centered health services.
- Collaborate across departments to enhance continuity of care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with IHS protocols, CMS standards, and privacy laws.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week; potential for some telehealth or coverage at surrounding clinics.
- Duration: Flexible minimum of 13 weeks to 12 months (with potential to extend).
- Start: As soon as credentialed.
EMR
RPMS (training provided).
Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM or ABFM).
- Unrestricted state license and DEA (Schedules II-V).
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 6 months recent clinical experience in outpatient care.
Background and Clearances
- Clean background check.
- Malpractice history.
- Valid driver's license.
