Internal Medicine – Hematology and Oncology

Dates Needed

• 2026: Sept 21, Sept 28, Oct 5, Oct 26, Nov 2, Nov 23 (closed Nov 24–25), Nov 30, Dec 21 (closed Dec 25), Dec 28 (closed Jan 1)
• 2027: Many dates available each month; seeking full coverage 5 days/week with some weekend call

Hours

• Weekdays: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday
• Weekend call: 24-hour coverage
• Some overnight weekday call to be shared with other providers

Call Responsibilities

• Respond to RN inquiries about patients with questions
• Address patient calls on scheduled chemo days
• Handle ED consults (minimal volume)

Patient Load

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: 17 patients
  • New patient visits: 1 hour each
  • Follow-up visits: 20 minutes each

Support Staff

• Medical Assistants: 1
• Registered Nurses: several

• EMR: Mosaiq
• Chemo suite: 18 beds
• Dedicated pharmacists for chemotherapy education
• Radiation oncology co-located
• COC-accredited Cancer Center
• Weekly tumor boards
• Clinical trials available (including Phase II and III)

Onboarding Requirements

Vendors must obtain and submit all pre-hire requirements (background check, drug screen) to People Services. Medical Staff Services/CVO conducts separate background screening and credentialing reviews for privileging. Facilities may impose administrative, credentialing, or enrollment fees; all such fees are the vendor’s responsibility.
