Internal Medicine Advanced Practice Provider - PRN

About the role

HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced PRN Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Advanced Practice Provider) to join their team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Southeast Florida.

Responsibilities

• No procedures / No codes
• Open ICU, intensivist coverage
• Schedule is 7am to 7pm - 7 on / 7 off block scheduling, with some flexibility
• Dedicated Nocturnist - 7pm to 7am on staff
• 12 Physician & 4 Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant full-time team with a deep per diem roster
• Collaborative, cooperative, excellence-driven team approach to patient care

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least three years of in-patient experience preferred
• Experience in acute care, cardiac, or pulmonology a plus

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to work weekdays and weekends (mixed schedule)
