About the role
HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced full-time Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join their Hospital Medicine Team at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital in Sebring, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Willing to work as Nocturnist (weekdays and weekends) 7pm – 7am
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of in-patient experience preferred
- Three years of experience in acute care, cardiac, or pulmonary is preferred
- Acute Care certified preferred for NP or Critical Care experience preferred for NP or PA
- DEA license is required
- Current BLS, ACLS certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
About Our Hospitalist Program
No Procedures / No Codes
Open ICU, intensivist coverage
Schedule is 7p - 7a; 7 on / 7 off block scheduling
Dedicated Nocturnist Team of one remote physician and one APP on site; 7pm to 7am
4 full time physicians & 2 full time APPs in the Hospital Medicine team
