Job Summary

AdventHealth Sebring is seeking an Internal Medicine Program Director to lead and shape the future of clinical training at our growing residency program. The program will house 45 Internal Medicine and 24 Family Medicine Residents, along with LECOM Medical Students, by 2027.

About the Role

The Internal Medicine Program Director oversees, evaluates, and reviews residents and faculty performance, ensuring compliance with ACGME and CMS requirements. They are responsible for providing oversight and ensuring adherence to these standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, evaluate, and review residents and faculty performance
• Evaluate and ensure compliance with ACGME and CMS requirements
• Provide guidance and mentorship to residents and faculty
• Ensure timely completion of required encounters
• Participate in resident teaching conferences and outpatient precepting

Requirements

• BC/BE Internal Medicine (Board Certification required)
• Active Florida medical license – or ability to obtain
• Experienced outpatient Internal Medicine physician with academic & research background
• Passion for teaching: outpatient precepting + teaching conferences

Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC EMR, DAX AI Scribe, and Collegial Med Staff
• Excellent long tenured support staff
