Internal Auditor

We are looking for an Internal Auditor to join a team in Massachusetts in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This role is suited for a detail-oriented individual who can evaluate compliance concerns, review documentation thoroughly, and communicate findings with clarity and professionalism. The position calls for someone who can balance objectivity, discretion, and sound judgment while managing multiple reviews in a deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities:• Lead compliance-focused reviews and investigations across assigned programs, ensuring each matter is handled impartially and thoroughly.• Conduct interviews with employees and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to gather relevant information and clarify concerns.• Examine records, files, and supporting documentation to identify facts, assess risk, and substantiate conclusions.• Prepare well-organized written reports that summarize findings, outline evidence, and present practical recommendations for resolution.• Track several active investigations at once while maintaining progress and meeting required reporting timelines.• Support quality and performance improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and recommending corrective actions.• Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information and investigation materials.• Use technology and audit-related tools to document work, organize case information, and support accurate reporting.
