Ideal candidates are analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to expand their skills while taking on increasing responsibility in a fast-paced environment.What You'll Do:Support compliance with corporate governance rules and regulations, including the SOXEvaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and Internal Audit processes.Work with Internal Audit leadership to maintain accurate and current narrative and COSO documentation.Perform SOX Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting testing and document results for management review.Ensure SOX documentation remains accurate and sufficient throughout the fiscal year.Assist Internal Audit leadership with Direct Line investigations.Analyze new regulatory and control requirements.Help develop audit programs for new regulatory and control requirements.What Experience You'll Have:Bachelor’s degree.Ability to understand and analyze data, particularly financial data.Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of an organization and external parties.Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive business matters.Ability to learn new tasks, take on additional responsibilities, and travel infrequently when necessary.What Experience is Nice to Have:Accounting degree.CPA or CIA.Experience with SOX, internal controls, or audit documentation.By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Vernovis and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
