Internal Audit Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Internal Audit Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $140,000 to $150,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Lead internal audit activities by evaluating financial, operational, and compliance processes to identify risks and improvement opportunities. Develop audit plans, conduct reviews, and prepare reports that communicate findings and recommendations to leadership. Assess internal controls, accounting procedures, and governance practices to support regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness. Partner with business units to monitor corrective actions, strengthen risk management practices, and improve organizational processes. Supervise audit team members while providing coaching, guidance, and support for professional development. Requirements A Bachelor degree in accounting or a related field. Maintain a professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or a similar credential. 10+ years of experience in internal audit, risk management, public accounting, or related disciplines. Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, internal controls, and compliance frameworks. Possess experience working with enterprise resource planning systems and audit management tools within complex organizations. Qualifications Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to assess risks, evaluate controls, and recommend business improvements. Communicate effectively with executives, auditors, and cross functional stakeholders through written and verbal presentations. Demonstrate leadership abilities when managing teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving accountability. Maintain exceptional organizational skills while managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
