Internal audit manager
About the role
Bending Spoons is seeking a seasoned professional to join our dynamic internal audit team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's financial and operational integrity through comprehensive SOX compliance, internal control evaluations, and the development of robust internal audit plans.
Responsibilities
Own SOX compliance: Implement and manage SOX compliance across all business processes and IT systems.
Lead internal control evaluations: Assess and enhance internal controls, identify gaps and risks, and drive remediation efforts.
Drive the annual internal audit plan: Develop and execute internal audit programs covering financial, operational, technology, and compliance areas.
Shape the internal audit function: Contribute to the establishment and continuous improvement of the internal audit function, including methodology, governance, and tooling.
Manage key stakeholder relationships: Collaborate with external auditors, senior management, and the audit committee to ensure effective communication and recommendation implementation.

Pay and Schedule
Location-specific compensation: Annual salary ranges from $123,616 to $257,642 in the US, £112,189 to £250,512 in London, and €82,557 to €188,848 elsewhere in Europe.
Permanent, full-time commitment: Positions are permanent and require a full-time commitment.
Schedule
Initial orientation: Spend most days in the Milan office during the first few months to immerse in the company culture and build trust with colleagues.
Remote work: After initial orientation, work from one of our offices or remotely from eligible countries.
