Internal Audit Intern - Part Time

About the role

Internal Audit Intern (temporary, part‑time) based in Bala Cynwyd, PA, starting mid to late September 2026. GBLI | Global Indemnity provides specialty property and casualty insurance for small to middle‑market businesses and seeks an Accounting major to work in the Internal Audit Department. The role offers exposure to financial and IT auditors, external auditors, and involvement in operational audits, SOX control oversight, and special projects aimed at improving efficiency and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Assist on various financial, operational, and IT audits.
• Perform SOX control testing to certify key controls are operating effectively.
• Take on special projects as needed, including using audit software to develop fraud monitoring scripts and conduct fraud investigation testing.

Requirements

• Pursuing an Accounting major.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

Typical annualized starting salary range: $22 – $26 per hour (varies based on location, education, experience, and skill set).

Schedule

Temporary part‑time position; in‑person work at the Bala Cynwyd, PA location.
