This engagement offers the opportunity to work within a global organization, gain exposure to cross-border audit activities, and create meaningful impact through your expertise. You will partner closely with the client's Global Internal Audit team, providing local expertise and helping execute audit procedures across multiple business functions in Bogotá, Colombia.

About the role

Support a multinational manufacturing organization during a scheduled audit engagement in Bogotá, Colombia, from September 21 to October 1, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside international stakeholders and contribute to strengthening governance and operational effectiveness within a global organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of a comprehensive internal audit engagement in Colombia.
  • Collaborate with the Global Internal Audit Lead and international business stakeholders.
  • Assess and evaluate key business processes, including:
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Fixed Assets
    • Procurement
    • Inside Sales
    • Human Resources & Payroll
    • Inventory Management
    • Compliance and Internal Controls
  • Assist in identifying risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Document audit observations and contribute to audit reporting and recommendations.
  • Support the review of controls within a dynamic business environment, including recently acquired entities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Advisory, or Compliance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of operational and financial processes, including accounting, procurement, inventory, and payroll.
  • Experience conducting audits within multinational or complex organizations.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global audit team.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent English (required), with the ability to communicate confidently with international audit leadership and business partners.
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA, or equivalent are a plus.

Schedule

2 weeks full on-site in Bogotá, Colombia: September 21 to October 1, 2026.
