INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY – Yard Hostler, 2nd Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Yard Hostler, 2nd Shift to join our team. This is a full-time Yard Hostler/Spotter at our Midway, Kentucky Distribution Center, just 15-20 minutes outside of Lexington.

Responsibilities

• Staging trailers to their assigned loading/unloading doors
• Cleaning and sweeping trailers as needed/instructed
• Maintaining communication with supervision throughout the shift
• Communicating all truck issues observed to supervision
• Conforming to all safety rules and using all appropriate safety equipment

Qualifications

• Proven ability to maneuver trailers (turning radius/backing/docking)
• No history of revocations for unsatisfactory driving
• Must be able to pass the Lakeshore safety training
• Good attendance and adherence to work schedule
• Able to pass DOT Drug and Alcohol screening
