Intern - Wealth Management (Plano, TX)
About the role
This in-person Summer 2027 Internship Program runs from May 24, 2027 to July 30, 2027. Opportunities are located in downtown Dallas at our HTS Tower location and at various branch locations nationwide.
As a Summer Intern, you will work closely with our Wealth Management team to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. You will develop entry-level skills, assist with key initiatives, and be introduced to the branch office environment and the role of advisors. You will interact with multiple advisors who have different styles and investment strategies, providing a well-rounded understanding of the Wealth Advisor role.
Responsibilities
- Training on different industry software and regulations
- Deliver securities presentations on relevant industry subjects and products
- Assist in summer intern projects including archiving, electronic file conversions, and helping advisors set-up or update websites
- Research and analysis of technology and marketing
- Assist and work side-by-side with advisors for summer marketing efforts
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Rising Senior pursuing finance, accounting, or related field (preferred)
- Some experience (0–1 year) preferred but not required
- Strong mathematical aptitude
- Proficiency with computer hardware, operating systems (Windows or Mac), and software/applications (MS Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
- Proven self-starter who can initiate tasks and follow up to completion
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Desire to learn about career opportunities in the financial services industry
- Must have authorization to work for any employer in the US without requiring sponsorship

About The Team
