Intern, US Gas Operations - Mid-Atlantic Region

About the role

TC Energy is seeking a Student Intern to support field operations related to the safe and reliable transportation of natural gas. The work term runs from May 2027 to August 2027. Interns will gain hands‑on experience working with natural gas compression equipment, field maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational procedures, working alongside experienced technicians and participating in field projects and inspections. TC Energy is a leader in North American energy infrastructure, moving over 30 % of the continent’s natural gas and connecting LNG exports to global markets.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations while demonstrating TC Energy's core values of Safety In Every Step, Personal Accountability, One Team, and Active Learning
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of natural gas compressors and related equipment
• Gain hands‑on experience using field tools, equipment, and operational procedures
• Learn and apply safety protocols and procedures for field work
• Participate in site visits, equipment inspections, and project activities under supervision
• Develop technical and problem‑solving skills applicable to a field technician role

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Mechanical, Chemical, Pipeline, Automation, or related technical / trades program
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term
