Intern, Tax - Winter/Spring Busy Season 2027, Wheeling, WV

We are seeking interns to join our tax team for the spring semester/busy season. Candidates selected for this position will gain hands-on experience performing various client work for our tax group’s variety of clients, including corporations, partnerships, individuals, financial institution, which range in size from community banks to SEC-registrants. Internships will begin January 2027 and will end around April 15, 2027. Key Responsibilities Of The Role May Include Accurately prepare a variety of reports and/or prepare work papers in accordance to the firm’s standard of qualityPrepare various types of tax returns as directed, as well as address review comments in a timely mannerPrepare quarterly estimate tax calculations Qualifications Internship to start during candidate’s junior or senior year of school; candidates completing their master’s program will also be consideredGPA 3.0 or greater is preferredAvailability to work approximate 20 hours per week (Monday through Friday); set schedule requiredOccasionally Saturdays may be needed beginning 3/1 through the end of the internship (4-6 hours)Working towards a bachelor’s degree in accountingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detailHighly organized with good time management skillsSnodgrass does not currently sponsor candidates for employment We offer competitive pay and will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and industry-specific knowledge while working with a reputable public accounting firm.
