Intern (Solid Waste - Summer 2027)
About the role
Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., a growing multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm serving municipal, industrial, and institutional clients across the northeast, is seeking a motivated Intern to join the Solid Waste practice area in the Syracuse, NY office for summer 2027. The firm has served clients for more than 60 years and specializes in transportation engineering, water supply, wastewater management, solid waste management, land planning and site design, environmental engineering, facilities engineering, land surveying, and asset management.
Responsibilities
- Support the Solid Waste practice area with engineering tasks
- Collaborate with professional engineers, environmental scientists, planners, and landscape architects on client projects
- Contribute to project work across municipal, industrial, and institutional sectors
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field
- Bright and motivated individual with interest in solid waste management
- Ability to work in the Syracuse, NY office for the summer of 2027
Pay
Estimated $21-23/hour. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
