Intern, Software Engineering

About the Role

Join the Software Engineering team within Moog's Military Aircraft Group for a summer 2027 block internship. This onsite position in Mineral Wells, TX offers the opportunity to contribute to key software engineering tasks while working alongside experienced engineers on challenging technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key software engineering tasks at Moog
• Provide technical support to engineers, as needed
• Work experience may include software development, software integration, software programming, and/or managing full lifecycle of flight displays, radios, autopilot systems, and sensors based on the student's educational discipline
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and/or Electrical Engineering Bachelor's or Master's Degree program at an accredited university
• GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA requirement will be specified by department
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship
• Professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment
