About the role

Oxford Properties Group is seeking a Summer Analyst to join its Investments Team in the New York office for the summer of 2027 (targeting June - August 2027).

Responsibilities

  • Underwriting equity and debt investment opportunities across asset classes and capital structures
  • Preparing various financial analyses, including cash flow projections, valuation and development models, sensitivity analyses, lease calculations, and budget analyses
  • Conducting market and property-level due diligence including the review of property level financials, rent rolls, third-party reports, and preparation of sales/leasing comps
  • Preparing presentations for Oxford’s investment committee and investment partners for the review/approval of new transaction opportunities and strategic initiatives
  • Assisting in strategic planning processes, including research into new asset class / market expansions
  • Summer Analyst Project – Summer Analysts will choose a topic and/or investment opportunity to research, analyze, and present to the Investments Team for their final project

Requirements

  • Rising senior enrolled in an undergraduate degree program during the Summer of 2027, preferably majoring in Real Estate, Finance, or related fields.
  • Experienced in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Experienced in commercial real estate considered favorable.
  • Highly detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and a focus on writing / presentation skills.
  • Can multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Willing to be a team player and embrace a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

  • Successful candidates must either possess the legal authorization to work in the desired location(s) or be willing to obtain the right to work independently.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of real estate investment principles and practices

Benefits

  • The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.
  • The base salary that is ultimately offered to the successful candidate will consider a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill set.
  • The expected hourly range for this position is $29.00 - $43.00 per hour.
  • You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.

  • The expected hourly range for this position is $29.00 - $43.00 per hour.

Schedule

  • Summer Analyst will work from June - August 2027.
