Summer Internship Overview

The Hanover’s Internship Program offers college students the chance to work on diverse business tasks, enhancing their skills and preparing them for future careers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Claims Property Analyst group
  • Develop and enhance proprietary business tools for optimization and consolidation of agent partners' businesses
  • Analyze and report data to meet customer needs
  • Develop tools, processes, and reporting analytics to support business growth and needs
  • Communicate with customers, external partners, and internal departments
  • Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership members

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or advanced degree program
  • A strong interest in property and casualty claims or construction
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Ability to commit to a full-time 10-week internship program
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and analytical skills
  • Thinks critically and anticipates, recognizes, and develops solutions

Pay

The target hiring range for this role may vary based on geographic location and other factors, including merit or performance, demonstrated proficiency, skills for the role, education, travel requirements, and experience. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus (which could take the form of a general bonus, sales incentive, or short-term incentive), long-term incentive or spot recognition awards.

Schedule

The internship runs from June through mid-August, lasting 10 weeks.
