Intern Project Management/Operations - Commercial Construction

About the role

Pepper Construction Company of Ohio is looking for curious, driven, intelligent students with a passion for learning about the construction industry by putting classroom learning into practical day-to-day activities. You will be paired with a Project Manager who serves as your mentor and given opportunities to work directly in various aspects of project management.

Responsibilities

• Processing submittals and take-offs
• Assisting with preparing budgets
• Attending job site and owner meetings
• Participating in real-life situations in the field and in the office
• Engaging in training sessions and jobsite tours
• Learning about safety protocols and priorities

Requirements

• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior studying Construction Management or similar major
• Good communication skills—both oral and written
• Strong computer skills that allow you to learn and understand new technology quickly
• Confidence to work independently while collaborating as part of a team
• Ability to multitask without losing attention to critical details
