Intern - Production Electrical Operations

About the Role

You will be supervised by the Production Manager (Electrical) and work with the Electrical Team at Yancey Engineered Solutions to develop trade skills and seek technical improvements within the team.

Responsibilities

• Review standardized label solutions for panel labels, wiring labels, and other unit labels utilizing on-site label printer automation, providing feedback or improvements as needed.
• Learn and become proficient with electrical schematics to identify gaps and improvements to pass to the design engineering team.
• Evaluate and identify areas for improvement in the electrical test quality gate, pinpoint repeat issues that delay successful testing, and collaborate with Quality & Electrical teams to mitigate them.
