About the role
The Intern - Process Quality Engineering role supports process quality engineering in semiconductor manufacturing. This includes analyzing data, contamination control, and utilizing AI dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Analyze process quality and contamination data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support root-cause investigations and corrective action activities related to manufacturing and process performance.
- Apply AI and data analysis techniques to develop dashboards, reports, and monitoring tools that improve operational visibility.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive process improvements and contamination control initiatives.
- Present technical findings, recommendations, and project results through reports and presentations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills through coursework, projects, or research experience.
- Knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
Qualifications
- Coursework, research, or project experience in semiconductor processing, materials characterization, process engineering, or manufacturing technologies.
- Experience using statistical methods and data-driven approaches to solve technical or engineering problems.
- Experience applying AI, data visualization, or analytical tools to evaluate process performance and support decision-making.
- Proficiency with data analysis software, programming, or reporting tools used in engineering environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a collaborative research or manufacturing setting.
