Intern - Pinchot Gardens - Masters or Bachelors level

About the role

Pinchot Gardens Residential Program is now accepting Students, who are enrolled in their masters or bachelor’s program. This is a non-paid, for school credit only position.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks related to their specific area of study under the supervision of a qualified Terros Health professional.
• Gain hands-on experience in group facilitation and co-leading therapeutic sessions.
• Engage with individuals experiencing substance use disorders.
• Learn and apply motivational interviewing and the stages of change model.
• Exposure to trauma-informed, client-centered care in a residential setting.

Requirements

This is a non-paid, for school credit only position. No prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Bachelor’s Program with an emphasis in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or other behavioral health specialties.
• Passionate about behavioral health and recovery.
• Willingness to gain hands-on experience in substance abuse treatment and mental health services.
