Intern - Pharmacy
About the role
Aid in the preparation, storage, and distribution of drugs. Maintain accurate records and educate patients about their medications. May also compound sterile solutions under aseptic conditions.
Responsibilities
- Aid in drug preparation
- Manage drug storage
- Distribute drugs as needed
- Keep detailed records of drug usage and inventory
- Provide patient education on medication use
- May compound sterile solutions under aseptic conditions
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a pharmacy program. Must have a Pharmacy Intern license from the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy.
Qualifications
Education: Currently enrolled in a pharmacy program. Not required in North Dakota.
Skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow safety protocols.
