Facility: Mercy Hospital of Buffalo Shift: Shift 1 Status: Per Diem FTE: 0.100000 Bargaining Unit: CWA Local 1133 Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: No Work Schedule: Days and Evenings with Weekend and Holiday Rotation Hours: 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, weekends 5pm-10pm, 6pm-11pm weekdays during school Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, and Lead Pharmacist, and under the supervision of the Senior Pharmacy Technician/Buyer and Clinical Pharmacists, and according to New York State law, performs technical activities associated with dispensing pharmaceuticals. Responsibilities: EDUCATION Accepted in an accredited College of Pharmacy Experience No previous experience required KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY Ability to communicate effectivelyGood manual dexterityKnowledge of mathAbility to operate the following machinery: Personal computer, laminar flow hood, biological hood, compounding devices, telephone, fax machine, hospital computer systems, copy machine, prescription balance, automated medication dispensing machinesIntern Assistant understands limitations of job -- everything must be approved by a Registered Pharmacist prior to it reaching the patient
