Intern - Multiple Divisions

Qualifications

• To qualify, candidates must:
• Intern candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree program at a university or college and have at least 30 semester or 45 quarter units completed at the undergraduate level, 9 semester or quarter units at the graduate level, or 15 semester or quarter units at the doctoral level at the time of appointment;
• or, an applicant may apply to participate within one year of having earned a degree from an accredited college or university.
• Student Worker candidates must be at least 16 years of age and obtain the appropriate Work Permit through their high school; or, must be currently enrolled in an Associate's degree program through an accredited college.
• Current or completed degree, curriculum, and/or experience must be relevant to LVMWD's business;
• Have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;
• Have the ability to analyze and problem solve;
• Possess strong technology skills.

Requirements

• Depending on qualifications, pay ranges from:
• Student Worker – minimum wage
• Bachelor's degree program - $18.50 per hour
• Master's degree program - $20.50 per hour
• Doctoral degree program - $22.50 per hour
