Intern Mfg Quality Engineer - Tampa FL

About the role

The intern will act as a provider of additional bandwidth to support the Material Review Board improvement exercise. They will assist the Quality Engineer with the Material Review Board process, develop standard work associated with MRB process, and assist with data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Understand the disposition of material due to Non-conformances
• Understand the criticality of the quality function in providing the customer with a quality product
• Develop continuous improvement mindset for workflow

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a BS with a major in Mechanical Engineering and less than 2 years to graduation
• Capable of utilizing MS Word, Excel including macros
• ERP experience a plus
