Intern - Masters level - Tucson
About the Role
Terros Health is seeking student-interns currently enrolled in a Master’s Program with an emphasis in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or other behavioral health specialties. This internship provides hands-on experience in a professional healthcare setting, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical clinical activities under the supervision of a qualified Terros Health professional.
Location & Schedule
Campbell Ave Health Center
3385 N Campbell Ave, Tucson, AZ 85719
Hours: Tuesday through Friday, 5–8 PM, and Saturday 9 AM–2 PM.
Responsibilities
- Support clinical activities, including assessments, treatment plan updates, group facilitation, individual therapeutic interventions, and case management.
- Complete assessments for AZ Families FIRST referred participants.
- Update Treatment Plans for AFF participants.
- Facilitate group therapy and individual therapy sessions.
- Conduct case management activities for engagement/re-engagement into treatment.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the program, the student will have gained practical experience and be able to demonstrate clinical skills to advance their academic and professional goals. The internship offers a well-rounded experience in the behavioral health field.
