About the role

Pine Rest is a non-profit behavioral health system committed to providing expert care for mental health and substance use disorders. We operate a wide range of services including psychiatric urgent care, behavioral health centers, outpatient, inpatient, and residential facilities. We also offer on-the-job training for future healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Affirm patient/client treatment needs and prioritize accordingly.
• Develop and implement the treatment plan, collaborating with the clinical team.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy or interventions, conducting psychosocial assessments.
• Contribute to the interdisciplinary treatment plan and act as a team member.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with assigned patients/clients, managing crises effectively.
• Serve as a liaison between community resources, families, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain appropriate length of stay based on patient/client progress.
• Monitor for and report any potential risks to patient safety.
• Document and report necessary information according to established policies.
• Conserve financial resources through efficient processes.
• Create a welcoming environment by adhering to quality improvement standards and maintaining professional relationships.
• Work in various clinical settings with diverse patient/client populations.
• Demonstrate commitment to the Hospital and Residential Services Model of Care.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an accredited Master’s Level Social Work program.

Qualifications
